DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

At Malsain (accessible via https://malsain.com), this policy covers two things: what belongs to us on this site, and what to do if you believe something here belongs to you.

Product photography and written descriptions take real work to produce, and outerwear is a category where images travel between sites easily. We take that seriously in both directions, which means protecting our own material and taking a proper look whenever someone tells us we have used theirs.

By using our website you agree to the terms below. If you need to file a notice or a counter-notice, send it to support@malsain.com and we will acknowledge it rather than let it sit.

Ownership of Site Content

The product photography, written descriptions, page copy, page structure, and brand marks on https://malsain.com are owned by Malsain or used with permission. Copying this material for commercial use, republishing it, or using it to list products elsewhere requires written permission from us.

What You May Do Without Asking

You are welcome to view the site, share links to it, and quote a short passage with attribution. Saving a product image for your own reference while you decide on a size is fine too. It is redistribution and commercial reuse that need permission.

Respect for Third-Party Rights

We take care that everything published here is ours to publish, and we do not use other companies’ trademarks or brand names in our listings, our navigation, or our search terms. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or trademark, tell us and we will look at it properly rather than defensively.

Filing a DMCA Notice

Send the following six items to support@malsain.com with DMCA Notice in the subject line:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. The URL of the material on our site, specific enough for us to locate it.
  4. Your name, mailing address, and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

What Happens Next

We acknowledge receipt, review the notice within 5 business days, and remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe while the matter is examined. Where we can identify who supplied the material, we notify them and pass on a copy of the notice.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice containing these six items:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address, and the contact details required by statute.
  5. Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address.
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the notice.

We forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. Material may be restored in 10 to 14 business days unless court action is filed in that period.

Repeat Infringers

Accounts and access belonging to anyone who repeatedly infringes intellectual property rights are terminated.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly filing a false notice or counter-notice carries liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Please be certain before you file.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The revised version appears here with a new date.
